    Default Ebay Amazement

As an engineer I have often heard this definition of stupidity
"Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome"

Several threads have appeared on this "tortuous" story of the F4 peghead and it's associated case but this dude doesn't give up!!

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Gibs...YAAOSwDKtY1mEJ

Change the deal on the listing with the peghead.....list the case and list the case. Simply amazing to me...

The seller is missing a golden opportunity to enhance the description of his item. Being able to tune the treble side strings with the case closed is a HUGE advantage!
Keep that skillet good and greasy all the time!

It says 'Make An Offer' - do you think he would take $25.00, including shipping?

Quite a gamble -- he might say yes, then YOU would be stuck with it!

Actually, a couple years ago I found an old 50's Gibson chipboard case in the closet that was falling apart, had tons of duct tape on it, ugly, etc. I was gonna throw it out, but that little light bulb went off -- eBay! -- the case was worthless, but I thought the hinges, latches, and the handle might be worth something. I put that stuff up for auction and I think it brought $40 or so........so, it pays to take out the trash once in a while, I mean, recycle.....................

He's still trying at $189.99 or Best Offer +$7.00 shipping but it appears he MIGHT have sold the only thing worth anything shown in that auction... the tuners on that broken headstock.

If I could pick it up for next to nothing, I would use that headstock and make an interesting bookend!
