    I just completed this Brescian mandolin in walnut and maple. The scale is 330mm. Strung with Aquila 1M.

    That one is in the hands of a uke player interested in mandolin.
    The binding had to wait for #3.

    No need to play it as a uke. When #3 arrives at my front door later this summer, I plan to get more involved with John Goodin's arrangements of Oswald's divertimenti (see Tukanu's post in the video files forum for the 1st movement of Divertimento #1) and, to boot, just ordered Rob MacKillop's latest: Play the Ukulele in 5ths Tuning. This will be my consolation for missing (due to my continuing Covid lifestyle) another Grey Fox festival.
