I hear ya man!, Why can't I find a deal like that or that 800 Buck 23 Loar about 18 years ago in my backyard well 40 miles away anyway! Back in the 60's-70's I know some guys that went around and picked up bone 28's for 100 bucks, Loars also cheap, Just searched em out and found em, The Loars I believe the one guy tracked down a certain mandolin orchestra in upstate NY and found one, This was all before my time, I'm 78 vintage.
