Charles, I have seen his "sticks" and they are things of grace and beauty to look at, I haven't a clue as to how to play fiddle but, I have been lucky enough to appreciate quite a bit if Bills handiwork. I am a lucky fellow! Have not had the Halsey's to dinner in too long, spring will arrive someday, we will feast!

I should have one I've been dreaming of delivered next week: my Girouard 2 pt oval. I've got the rest covered pretty well.
Datanick, you should change that Ellis A5 to a Heiden A5 on your list.

OK if we are dreaming - then I am dreaming of a Kerman. Since he only makes them for world class players, it would mean (in my dream) that I would be a world class player.
Now there is a dream, to be so good that Arik Kerman makes a mandolin for the way you play it.
Well I guy can dream, right?
Okay - I'll play:
1. 1920's Martin Style 20
2. To get Rigel to make me an F-style mandolin.
1- This Gil https://cartervintage.com/collection...nt=20352305091
2 - Ellis A5
3 - 40's or early 50's Gibson J-45 Guitar
4 - 20's Snakehead Gibson
5 - Vega Cylinder Back
6 - Clawhammer banjo someday

My list disappeared when I got my Randy Wood F 5.
I passed on all the expensive mandolins on my list. I bought a Kentucky KM-1050 and retired.
The mandolin I have dreamed about(literally) is a 1929 Fern that I was allowed to play at a bluegrass fest. in Oklahoma. It had the neck dimensions
and sound that I have not been able to find, even though I have been lucky to have owned some very nice mandos(Gils,Nugget,Red Diamonds,Kimble,Sobell,Gibsons)
Thinking a Ricky Skaggs MM is dream-worthy.
It's good to dream.
The Collings I currently have, and a Campanella "A." Someone earlier said they are classy looking instruments, and I heartily agree.
