Question The Mandolins of John Cannella

Does anyone have any information regarding a luthier by the name of John Cannella, who made very unusual-shapped mandolins in the 1940s?

Be nice boys. It probably sounds...great!

I'd like to see pictures of the back also. And how does it sound?

Mandolins in the wild do this when they feel threatened. It's a self defense measure that makes them appear bigger when confronted by a predator.
