I did not think any instrument could do it justice without the drums. That ominous incessant drumming seems an essential part of it. But you have managed to get that same feeling with the rhythm of your playing. Just as effectively full of portent.
I have thought about this because the son of a friend of mine wanted me to take on playing the theme and I did a lot of listening and some playing. I gave up (my own skill aside) because the whole feeling of the piece did not seem to fit on a mandolin.

Really well done Dylan. Full fluid playing which is a great advert for the mandolin for a wider public - captures the vibe for the those us who are Game of thrones fans waiting for the next series to come out. Good to see you posting here again - keep them coming.
Is that standard tuning or are you using an alternate tuning?
