Personally I prefer the percussion qualities of an old tractor:

A quarter tone flat and a half a beat behind.

Wow, 950K views on some, eh, amateurish guitar and singing. Prefer Grammy Nominee Sierra Hull's take sitting close to 800K views.

That washing machine's got great stage presence ... sort of a contained fury.

943,000 views in 17 days - how does that work? Approx. 55,500 a day?

At least, that one would qualify for dancing to the music.
But the OP machine is not far away from that either - see the bulge throbbing in the front panel? The mere noise level indicates something destructive going on in there. Don't tell me that is a normal operation mode.

As someone that has done battle with an HE washing machine only moments ago, i'll say TNT is too good for them.

Wasn't there a major rock band that had a washer and dryer on stage during one of their tours? Thinking it might have been Rush. You could throw a load in and sit back and take in the show.
    A couple of mandolins
    A couple guitars
    An Upright Bass
    Some banjos
    Wax Paper over a comb
    A Loar era Didjeridoo

Yes, it was Rush. They've used a variety of devices in place of amps (since Geddy Lee's bass was going direct) for visual effect, also including vending machines and rotisserie chicken ovens.

    That's a good one!

I also like these fellows in Sweden playing along with a water-powered "hydraulic ram" water pump (not electric though), they're playing resonator mandolin and resonator guitar and banjo:

Seems the guitar player is a MandolinCafe member who also occasionally plays mandolin too.

Another very cool giant old engine sound below, no music yet but I see potential, fast-forward to 2:35:

To get an idea how big the above engine is, see 1:46-2:10 where a guy is adjusting the valves, wow!

Although his "good old electric washing machine" was probably quieter than this 1927 gas-powered Maytag washing machine:

And yeah I agree with one of that video's commenters that it's a bad idea to wear a necktie or anything else that could catch in the rollers. According to this paper, wringer-washer safety-protocol problems were still an issue as late as 1964... Personally, way before 1964 we'd quit using our electric wringer washer although it still sat there on the porch for a number of years before it finally got carted off to the scrap-metal pit in the back field.

Even electronic music can be done on acoustic instruments.
