I know this is an older thread, but I have one that I've owned since 2008. I like it. I still play it regularly, and I now own a Gibson Goldrush but I can't seem to part with the 805. Great instrument.

I have a Kentucky KM 805 I got in a trade, I was a bit leary as I play A-styles and bowlbacks, but it sounds surprisingly good. At least I haven't moved it on yet. LOL!!! If I had to sell something it would be the first to go, but I see no reason to sell any mandolins yet.

They are a great sounding and beautifully made instrument for the price. The block inlays and stain color make it a distinctive looking, and quality solid wood mando.
