Default Tiritomba (Neapolitan song, early 1800s)

    Guglielmo Cottrau (1797-1847): Tiritomba

This is an early 19th century Neapolitan song, which now seems to be most popular in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, possibly because of the 1930s recording by the tenor Joseph Schmidt.

This arrangement is by Jan Wolters:

I'm playing it as a quartet of two mandolins, tenor guitar and mandocello.

    1890s Umberto Ceccherini mandolin
    1915 Luigi Embergher mandolin
    Vintage Viaten tenor guitar
    Suzuki MC-815 mandocello
