I don't think these have shipped yet - I emailed Jeff and he was estimating end of Nov/beginning of Dec.

    Jill,

Thanks, I thought I remembered a ship date in November when the pre sale was going on.

Do we have a grasp on the prices yet? That "mandocaster" looks like it'll be a winner!

Anyone know if the bridges are top loaders or string-through?

Nevermind. I just followed Ted's link and got my answer. They're string-through.

I was talking with Jeff at a gig of his Saturday night. Asked about the eMando and he said most likely next two weeks. Ted, he was very appreciative of you!! Jeff is playing with a small group call Rattlesnakin' Daddies. His Zebrawood mando with a K&K pickup sounded outstanding. His playing was also on!

it's cool he makes mandocasters! although i'm not that keen on the headstock.
i'm also thinking about it having two pickups... since they're basically right next to each other; do they offer that much variety in sound? or is it basically to make the two coils cancel out some hum?

In my discussions with Jeff, he's expressed that the three pickup settings do offer significant tonal options to the player. With that being said, Jeff is also offering blank pickguards for the DIY crowd.
