I had read the Kentucky KM-150 had a "wider" neck, so was leaning towards ruling it out. Thank you for the review. It is really helpful for us newbies when we can get realistic comparative reviews on the different "beginner" mandolins. I figure the more expensive mandolins are bought by more experienced players who really don't need the reviews as much. Folkmusician indicated they liked the Loar better, but I personally could use more information.
