    Default MandoStrat Scratchplates

    Greetings - help needed please......
Anyone out there own both the 4 and 8 string variants?
If so, are the scratchplates the same? ......Just had an order for a customised 8 string pickup/scratchplate (original pattern supplied) and was thinking of adding them to my list.

    Cheers,
    Pete.

To me they look the same but I have not deassembled them and placed them on each other.

I used to have an eight string and a four string.I never measured them, the bodies looked identical.

Stew Mac sells the scratch plate materials for a DIY approach..
I got some and removed the original one on my FM 61..
used new pickup, pots, and jack..
