Mandostrat Pickup

Hi,

Before I take the scratch plate off, is the pickup adjustable at all? I'd like to boost the E string a bit?

I bough it as a silent mandolin, it makes a great noise in headphones played through a little Vox Amplug 2 AC30 compact headphone amp

I bought it from Thomann, much cheaper than buying in the UK.

Move it up higher , closer under the string.. a screw is on each end of the Pickup .

Or Restring it heavier , tune to viola CGDA, 0.050" for the C.
