    Default Burtenshaw #10

I just finished #10. It's a redwood top and walnut back & sides. Finished with Seal-lac sealer, then french polish on the top and Tru-oil on the walnut. I'll try to get a sound sample up. It sounds pretty good...

    Very nice!

Love the treatment of the end of the fretboard.

    Thanks for sharing,

I Like it.......... that back is really nice......... I like the smaller details that keep it out of the standard A-style form.......... Nice, Nice

Very nice! Is one you're planning to keep for yourself or is someone already in line to take it off your hands?

Thanks for all the kind words, I wish I had some better pictures.
I hope this video link works. Not the greatest but hopefully you can get an idea of the sound. My buddy Paul playing a little this morning. Pardon my amateur presentation...

Lovely instrument. I like the walnut, and the vertical orientation of the oval hole. A little bit different, but not too wild and crazy.

There should be some people lining up for number 11. This is nice work and a great sound.

That's a good sounding mandolin, looks great too!!! Not that you asked for advise but the headstock needs a name on it. You are missing a big way to advertise IMO.
