    Hi,

Does anyone know which glue Gibson used in the Lloyd Loar era for binding?

More likely scrap celluloid dissolved in acetone. That was certainly what was being used in the 1960s and 70s according to an ex-Gibson mandolin maker a I met few years back.

    Cheers
