Default New Tutorial: Build your own chords #4! Aug, Dim and 7 chords.

    Hey folks,

I'm excited to launch video #4 in my series on building your own chords. Check out all four parts on my new Youtube channel. I'll be launching a brand new video - topics from beginner to advanced - every week at least through the end of this year.

If you dig it, share it and **subscribe**!

Diminished = ominous. It had never occurred to me.

    Really, really impressive again.

This covers the territory that is explored in the recent long, occasionally entertaining and too often overly cerebral thread http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/sh...-is-this-chord

But what an utterly different and - for me at least - what a far more productive approach. I just love the notion that theory can be literally at your fingertips as shown here.

    Thank you.

Not sure if it is a Youtube thing but the sound and video were out of sync.

This whole series of you tube lessons is terrific. It's given me a whole new way to approach chord playing.
    Thanks,

I thoroughly enjoyed all four videos. Despite playing for years, I learned things - and the names for them - that I hadn't grasped before now. Much appreciated.

I commented on the one of the YouTube clips that I'd really love to see a short lesson on basic 12-bar blues around the 1-4-5 chords, and the building blocks to improvising around them.

I've loved playing blues for years, but still have a giant road block in front of me whenever I try to improvise.

    Thanks again,

    ron
