    Default Butch's What's Doin', 1987

Giving this a spin after a long time of no spin. Very hip playing, shades of Dawg, Monroe, jazz. This LP seems to have fallen off the radar as an important mandolin album to check out. Check it out.

What's Doin' is also on Reflections, with John Carlini on guitar. Very fine album, culminating in the extremely quirky Minnie Ball of Shiloh.

Who wrote Dark Rider? I learned it a long time ago but never knew the source of it. Looks like this album is available on Amazon. Thanks for posting it, Alan! I've got some new music to listen to.
