I often wonder why Webers don't receive more adoration. While that Yellowstone wouldn't be my first choice, Bruce seemingly makes something for everyone at a wide range of price points. In fact, when I created a thread last summer about alternatives to the Collings MT, I did so fully expecting to be inundated with support for the Gallatin model. Instead, that support materialized for Girouard mandolins.

Thank the heavens for the Classifieds. It has made experimentation with different instrument styles possible without taking out a second mortgage. Got two additions (a converted RISA Uke and a Mandobird 8) from the Classifieds enroute and am looking forward to experiencing the differences with them and the rest of the stable. I expect in the near future I'll be posting an instrument or two on the Classifieds as I settle into what I prefer the most.

Being able to view an instrument on the Classifieds and then research it via an archives search is a godsend. We're lucky to have such a combined resource.

The F9 is (was) mine and it is pending. I really don't want to let it go, but its for the better. I will still have my Stiver, Flat, and Morris to keep me company. Oh and the Flat Pancake I just bought. It is a great mandolin but it is time to pass it on and the buyer seems like they will really appreciate it.
