    Default Crystal Forest mandolins

I purchased an Army Navy style mandolin from this website. Wow! I now have a hand built mandolin with a California Redwood top and red maple sides. Also, a Cumberland bridge and Grover tuners. This is the deal of the year. This is his 20th instrument of this style and he never uses the same materials. This is a beautiful, loud and rich sounding instrument.

Congratulations, Sterling. I got to meet Terry last fall. Nice guy and builds a first rate mandolin. Hope you enjoy yours.

The style is simple compared to my Eastman 615. But what a sound! Volume and projection are impressive.

Congratulations Sterling! I have Terry's #14 and love it. Now that you have one, you can appreciate that they sound as good as they look. Terry does beautiful work. I wish you lots of pleasure from it.

    Best wishes, Bob

Sorry about the lack of Pics. I am computer challenged. I still write with fountain pens. Go to the Crystal Forest website and click on recently sold. Mine is the California Redwood top and Red Maple back and sides. Another nice thing is that my Toneguard that I bought for my Eastman 615 fits this mandolin perfectly!
