  4. Re: A tuner shootout: TC Electronic Unitune vs. Peterson StroboCl

I picked up the Peterson Stroboclip recently for the benefit of being able to use it at outdoor gigs where the light conditions can be quite bright. It is supposed to be visible in such conditions. I...

Ebay F-4 seller with low feedback

This auction ends tonight, price is low but likely to spike, Seller has a feedback # of 7, that would concern many but I guess there is protection with Paypal?

  9. Re: Shocking revelation! Lyon & Healy Style C on eBay

Everyone's radar except for the unidentified buyer, lol! I hope if the buyer is a cafe member, they'll let us know about their conquest.

This Gibson A model on FB Marketplace: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/730416940772503/

    Only $25,000.00, lol!
  11. Re: Shocking revelation! Lyon & Healy Style C on eBay

I too helped raise the sale price of this auction with the idea of fixing it myself. I wondered how high the buyer would have gone as it exceeded my limit.

    Re: proper fret dress

A crowning tool should leave the fret rounded. Slightly flattened is how they look after being leveled. Flattened could result in less clear noting.

Re: James or Allen tailpieces-anyone use these?

I think the most important think to note in regards to the James (I'm a huge fan) is the angle adjustment. I received a very nice higher end mandolin once that had the James and it was not adjusted...

    Re: Resonator mandolin repair

Can you post a picture of the area that needs repaired. I'm trying to picture how the force of the tailpiece caused the body to collapse. Here's a picture of one I used to own taken apart.
