    Re: Strap recommendations?

Tammy Davie, Davie Leather and Braid makes some really nice custom mandolin straps. A little on the pricey side, but very nice straps.

    Re: Dr. John Cockman interview

Enjoyed the interview Gunnar. First time I saw the Cockman Family they were just kids. Hard to believe John Jr. is 45. Always enjoy them when I have a chance to hear them.

  12. Re: Gibson Master Model A9 vs Vintage Gibson A9 (1930s)

I have an A9. It is a very good all around mandolin. I would not hesitate to recommend an A9. It will work well in what ever style you decide to use it in.

Re: 1976 Gehrardt Green F5 Pictures

You can read more about this mandolin at harryandjeaniewest.com. It is still listed on their site under vintage instruments. This was definitely a huge step outside the box in 1976.
