    My '39 had the bridge positioned a bit north in relation of the expected ff hole position. It's interesting to see the very late 30's F5's. So far I have seen three or four '39's.

    These mandolin plans sound very similar to a set of plans I got from Benny Cain in 1976. Since they both lived in the DC area is there a connection?
