I can open the videos, but not the contents of the folders. They open, but that’s it. Is it my iPad?

You’re welcome, of course. Be sure to listen to the Montana Mandolin Society do their take on it.

    Culhane’s and Folan’s

There are two jigs on the mysterious Michael Kerry’s great CD, Rocky Road, Culhane’s and Folan’s. But, I can’t find a word or a note about either tune. Anyone got any clues?

Stringalong, if you open Simon’s video in YouTube, then click the text right below the video, all the information you want is there. I also like this one, and especially that C chord (“the major...

I second that recommendation! Brilliant, funny, charming series. I own the DVD set! I think we’ve watched it four times. McKenzie Crook is a genius.

    Re: The Ash Grove Multitrack

I guess I could try converting that file to something else...maybe. But it feels like a lot of work to blow my own horn. :whistling:

Spire, btw, is a worthwhile App for recording up to 8 tracks....

I’ve only traded on The Cafe once. Have sold a few more times over the years. I got MANY more offers for trades than offers to buy. And the trade was a lot more fun!

Recording was very simple, btw, with Spire (I don’t have the “Studio”). Uploading it was my problem.

    Anyway, thanks!

    Re: Advice on a Mandola?

I bought an Eastman OM. I love it capoed at the fifth fret (mandola scale). I might buy a higher end OM and do the same thing. Seems like the perfect solution to me.

    Captain of the Lost Waves

I couldn’t find mention of this anywhere on MC. Hard to know where to put it, actually. Definitely lots of mando-related content! Incredible performer. Check out YouTube videos.

You recognize the maker? Looks like he removed the e strings to call it an OM.

I love the sound of this OM. That tune is also great...apparently original. Who is this guy?!?
