    Re: Church Praise Band Question

It could be that the band leader just doesn't like the sound of a mandolin (hard as it is for us to believe, some people don't) and is making excuses to keep that sound out of "his" band.

You did the right thing and can sleep easy. You'd have regretted it for years if you didn't and that would take the joy away from playing it.

What kind of mandolin is this?

AJ Lee, with the Brothers Comatose, do a beautiful take on Neil Young's Harvest Moon. What kind of mandolin is she playing?

Re: Just picked my son up his first mando.

If the Washburn is far easier to play than the Eastman, I'd get the Eastman set up by an experienced repair guy. Your son will stick with it better if it's easy to play.

    Tabledit files--crosses, airplanes, etc.

I downloaded the .tef file for Ry Cooder's Billy the Kid. On screen, I see quarter notes, or eighth notes, or whatever. When I print it, they come out crosses and airplanes and envelopes. I'm...

Framed.wtf is kind of like Wordle, only for movies. Today's version features a mandolin in one of the photos. How fast can you get the movie? https://framed.wtf/

Saw this in a museum the other day. Think it would work for price-matching?

Re: Ready to get my hillbilly on!
