I made a Martin style mandolin with no radius, as my plan pretends. And it works verry well. My flatirons have 10 or 8 ft, and that is still quite flat. A radius on a cant top is difficult to make....

Yes it is original. I think the double coordinator rods came later. Do you have one with tonering?
