It says a lot about the Cafe that people can feel comfortable using their real names. I don't know how many other forums you can say that about.
I believe this thread confirms that.
I agree, this combo should result in a great episode. Thanks for sharing.
Agreed. I'm particularly happy to see the bass clarinet in the mix.
I was thinking the same thing. There are certainly worse influences to have.

I also use that same Hercules uke stand for my J.L. Smith electric and couldn't be happier.
I've found the Boss GE-7 seven band EQ pedal to be very helpful on my electric, specifically boosting that weak E string. I imagine it would do the trick for your situation as well.
The first time I ever played an Ellis was at The Music Emporium. They obviously look & sound fantastic (they really do), but I remember being dumbfounded by the playability. It played so...
I enjoyed that immensely. Thanks for sharing.
It certainly gave me a chuckle. Thanks for sharing. Marty's the best.
I was fortunate enough to see Marty & The Fabulous Superlatives perform this one with Roger McGuinn & Chris Hillman.
Thanks for bringing up Stutzman's, Jim. I knew there was another great shop in that area. I also thought of Jake's in Beacon but the last time I was there it was slim pickins.
I'm a little north of that area but not aware of anything substantial down that way. Certainly not anything like Bernunzio's, which looks like it's near you.
I'm hoping someone will elaborate if necessary and correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that Acoustic Disc is Dawg's record label. Acoustic Oasis is specifically for high quality...
I saw this the other day as well. Great stuff.
Come for the novelty, stay for the wonderful music.
I can't believe I forgot about Tone Poets. Really neat project.
I know I'm far from alone here but, Mr. Grisman & his tone were my mandolin gateway drug.

I really enjoyed those. Thanks!
I'll second that!
I sent you a PM.

This one just covers Gibson mandolins but should still meet your criteria.
