  1. Re: Nickel Creek - When You Come Back Down (posted 2 days ago)

I've heard this song many times from the original recoding in 2000 and it was always one I skipped past or toned out. Just seemed sappy to me. This performance really grabbed me. I was comparing it...

  5. Danilo Brito in Toledo on April 2 - FREE Show

  6. Re: Toledo Public Radio Drops A Prairie Home Companion

Good point UsuallyPickin...but I would counter that today's donors/members won't be here forever...they also need to create appeal to younger audiences. Not saying PHC is the show that does...
  7. Re: Toledo Public Radio Drops A Prairie Home Companion

What I find interesting is that Garrison hand picked Chris for this, to keep the show going. It certainly seems that he wants it to live on...but that seems to slip past a lot of the retirement news....

Re: Which Mando did Dawg use?

By far my favorite Christmas CD and probably top 10 all CDs. I even wait until the week of Christmas to listen to it so I don't overplay it. The recording quality is so good.

    Re: Bluegrass Underground

I didn't watch this but if you are talking about Keller Williams, I wonder if the set was more about his songs with the McCoury's backing him. I've seen The Traveling McCourys live and I thought they...

Re: The O'Connor - Suzuki Discussion

Re: The O'Connor - Suzuki Discussion

I agree that in this case, bad publicity is bad publicity. I'll speak for myself...I have no interest in purchasing O'Connor's music any more as a result of this and while he is an amazing musician...
  19. Re: Just found: Footage of Tony Rice Unit. Winterhawk '92

Was that Wyatt off camera on the first guitar break? I always feel like Wyatt never got his due as a great flatpicker...he is amazing. I love Tony's playing, but Wyatt is top notch.
