  2. Re: Gibson F5-L 1991, what do i need to know

Taking a big step back. I don't want to release what I was offering in the trade. It fits me very well and I really like it. Need a lot more time with it before I ever think of letting it go.

  7. Re: Gibson F5-L 1991, what do i need to know

Yea, 14 is..........ummm......time for intervention from friends.

Actually I think there are 14 around here now, they're everywhere, every room has a couple, some hanging from rafters, leaning in corners. There's a strange "going on" where two or three banjo cases...

  14. Re: Duff A style mandolins, like to hear owner thoughts, some ?

Bob's a friend, and as friends do, I didn't even think to check to see what he might have. He always has some thing or things that are of interest.
If you ordered that from the Fender custom shop,...
  15. Re: Duff A style mandolins, like to hear owner thoughts, some ?

I saw that just now at 515pm-lol, definitely could have been a front seat possibility just as that Gibson F 10 a few ads below it, and the Gibson F5g that Lowe has would also be a front runner.
    ...
  16. Re: Duff A style mandolins, like to hear owner thoughts, some ?

The thing holding me back on one of his is the tone I'm after. His work and mandolins are top shelf, I've never heard a Girouard with...

  22. Re: Duff A style mandolins, like to hear owner thoughts, some ?

i totally get what you are saying.
