Haven’t had a problem with the Lotus Light. They all have to be adjusted properly to shine where you want them to.

I use the EJ 72 mandola set on my Collings Mandola. If I were to make up a set of nickel wound in the same gauge would the tension be the same or different than the EJ 72 set? Just wanted to try it...

I have found that the Dunlop Ultex 73 is a good pick for mandola.
I just purchased an Ibanez AVT tenor guitar. The AVT has a solid spruce top and the top and braces are Thermo Aged.

I have a Collings mandola and I use a 35mm film container to humidify inside the case. It fits just fine inside the case.
Just make some holes in the film container top and cut a piece of sponge....
I think there is a mandolin player that put his mandolins in the oven.

Have used Dr. Ducks for many years. Tried all other string cleaners and Ducks works best for me.
I have a Breedlove Rogue and an Orca and both are fantastic mandolins.
No plans to ever let them go.
Used a Godin mandolin on stage for 10 years. Very reliable and I highly recommend it.

I used one onstage for 10 years and never had a problem with it. I always thought that the neck and fingerboard could have been better.
