Beautiful birds-eye!

I have a cumberland as you descibed above, with the small gap between the two feet. I just wonder how the full contact bridge effects the tonality, etc...darker tone, tighter mids, I don't know?
Any insight to which is a better bridge, full contact or your traditional style?
I have the exact opposite problem on my Eastman 615, the E IS EXTREMLY LOUD. My chop is affected by the over bearing E.

Mike Marshall's fundamentals is great!
Wegen picks equal optimal tone for my ears and the family agrees, they just sound better than all of the (many) picks in my arsenal. Have not tried a BC yet, don't see why after all the TF140 is good...
Have a great new trip around the sun everyone!
Being opinionated is not trolling, trolling requires a 3/0 hook and a couple of flashers, down~rigger is optional. ;-0
The back is beautiful, congrats
It's all about the minute particulars of any given thing, whether it's food or working with wood. I don't know to much about working with wood, but I am a chef and for me I prefer tradition over food...

At the very least there should be faux frets on the "tongue", like Jamie Weins and others do. I agree with Glassweb, why not go the distance and eliminate the peninsula all together? Yellowmandolin,...
