    Re: NOT an essential service?!

“Delivery and online operations of retail businesses may continue.” that quote is directly from your link Mike. My point isn’t to argue here. It’s to show that the world hasn’t ended. We can still...

    Re: NOT an essential service?!

In CA non-essential businesses are closed to walk-in customers and curbside pickup. But UPS, FedEx, US mail, UPS Store, FedEx/Kinkos are still open. No state to my knowledge has ended online...

    Re: NOT an essential service?!

I assume most stores are still shipping. It only takes one person to be able to handle shipping out online/phone orders. I sold two instruments this week and shipped them out via UPS. Will be...

    Re: Waiting for UPS

Those are just pick marks in the varnish. Mine have plenty of wear like that. As Mary said, it's relatively thin varnish which is part of Kimble tone recipe. I've played somewhere in the...

I wonder if that was Will’s personal mandolin for awhile? I think I played that one. It was a killer mandolin!

    Re: Informal Poll

Believe it or not there are a LOT of mandolin buyers that don’t participate here on the Cafe. $10k isn’t that much money for a top quality wooden instrument. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it...

Re: GIROUARD F4 Delivered Today !!!

The Heiden is here to stay. But adding a Girouard to the stable might be an option one day. I’ve never seen one in person but his work looks beautiful in the pics. And Jill’s sounds really good.

Re: The Heiden F Artist in the classifieds

I love Ellis mandolins. Tom makes a very fine instrument. But they’re not selling for $20k. And they’re also built by a team of people, a very skilled team of people. The others on my list are all...
