It looks like your mandolin was built in 2004. The black gold model was part of the quartz series. Joey Christensen, Angela’s brother in law would have been the Christensen who signed your instrument.

Yes I work for Weber. 1 7/16” is the depth of the sides, the body structure before the top and back are glued on.

The body depth is 1 7/16” on the Road Dog and Red Rocks models.

I have found an app called “fret tester” to be a helpful memorization tool to learn the notes on the fretboard.

Weber definitely offers 2 and 3 point body shapes as a custom option.

You will need a 1/4" nut driver
