    It plays well and sounds very sweet, you would never know its there except to look at it. The nut is shaped and smoothed in line with the neck profile. Thanks for the advice.

    I would never pay someone to do this, but I could do it myself. I've repaired and refinished a number of instruments, and since my mm50 is of low value anyway I think it might be a good idea to do...

    I always play videos at 2x speed if I can with captions until the sound tests. Anyway the guy took an Epiphone mm50 and shaved the top and bottom plates with tap tuning without removing them,...
