I have Hokkanens book Bluegrass Up The neck. I also have his CD. I find it recorded very faint. Is mine a bad recording? Anyone else have trouble with yours getting volume?
Thank you.

When you are singing alone, do you strum or chop? I strum and put in a few fancy licks on a break. Anyone else do this? I also use 3 finge chords then. It sounds great.
Has anyone compared the GHS strings with D'Addario J74 Any difference in sound. ?

Is it 1 set to a customer or can we order a small quanity, like 5 sets?
I looked at 2 F9s a few years ago. I asked the manager of the store if they would set them up. She replied, " They are already set up at the Gibson factory" Yeah, aha.
On the intonation question. My G is right on at the 12th,
D is 20 Cents high.
A is 10 Cents high
E is 10 cents high.
Why would the D string be 20 cents high. What would be the recommendation?...
Make sure the bridge isnt tilted. Just a thought.
My Bitterroot Weber came today from having a Tradional Brekke installed. I must say it is louder and a great tone. The big difference is Sustain. It is great. I recommend it.Thanks Rick, John and all...
I find it alot more difficult to pull-off now that I have a radius board. My flat board worked much better.
I shipped my Weber bitterroot to Weber to switch bridges from the standard to the traditional. Should be here soon. I will give a report on the sound..
Make A Joyful Noise..
I believe it was sung by Roseanne Cash.
No cross picking, but he great sounding down strokes.
I use a Colorado Case. It fits over the shoulder or as a backpack. It has a large pocket. Check there website.
Have you noticed any differnt in sound from the Brekke bridge standard to the newer Traditional Brekke bridge?
