May be different for others, but I get an "access denied" message when I try to view the Google Drive files. Asking price would be a handy thing to include in your ad as well.

As a resident of Lockhart (and a central Austin refugee) I may not be a wholly unbiased source, but I highly recommend a trip to Fiddler's Green. There are other reasons to make the trip out to...
I owned a modern harp mandolin made by British luthier Stephen Sedgwick that was just a blast to play (even if - or maybe because - I was never quite sure what to do with it!). I've lost contact with...
No problem. I like Wegens. :-)

Wegen TF120?

Wow. Suddely I'm having flashbacks to GeoCities circa 1996. :-)
Chris
That's the one! :-)
Best regards,
Chris
I've seen one other example of a brown-topped L&H beyond those that Jim Garber mentions. Lowell Levenger had a Style A brown-topped mandola some years back (probably close to 20 or so years ago). I...
Listening to Marjorie's Waltz #3 right now and raising a demitasse of espresso to Mr. Ostroushko. May have to make borscht later. His music has always meant so much to me (and will continue to do so)...
One of Bill's mandolins popped up at Elderly in late 2018. To say it was gorgeous would be an understatement. Some lucky soul snapped it up before I could pull the (not inconsiderable) purchase price...
Lucky me! My family and I moved from central Austin to Lockhart about eight years ago and love it. A hearty welcome to Fiddlers Green and congratulations to Ben Hodges ... you’ll be a great addition...
Courtesy of the wayback machine, here's a photo of the one from vintageinstruments.com ca. 2004 ... back in the day. :-)
This is one that, in retrospect, I wish I would have snapped up.

Lowell Levinger had one of the brown L&H mandolas on his site for quite awhile back in the early 2000s if I recall correctly. I lusted after it heavily, but the neck had been modified a tad to make...
Another option would be Eric Foulke of Boots Mandolins, https://www.bootsmandolins.com/.
I owned a Boots Imperial model for years and absolutely loved it. Wish I still had it!

Some of the exact same instruments and photos are listed on both of these accounts ("japanproduct" and "far.east.man".) Similar seller feedback patterns as well.

Mike - You may well be right. Regardless, there's certainly enough red flags that I would never consider buying anything from this seller.
I suspect it is some sort of scam rather than a...
I do think that they - or someone - has the mandolin for sale (albeit it at a super inflated price), as I sold it through the 'cafe to an individual in Japan. Why it's listed multiple times with...
Interestingly, this seller has a mandolin that I used to own that I'd love to have back. Unfortunately it has been marked up about $3000 - $3500 over what I'd consider to be a fair value for it....
Not sure, but it looks like it may still be available new at the publisher's site (https://www.wordofmouthpress.us/) or also at http://www.tonyricestory.com/.

Gorgeous! I think I may have actually just drooled on my keyboard a little. ;-)

While I certainly agree with Shakespeare's sentiment, I'm not aware of any aspect of being a CEO which would, in and of itself, preclude a person from appreciating and playing music.

Regardless of where one stands on the moral issue(s) that popped up in this thread, it sure would be interesting to hear how things panned out for the OP, and of course to get to see what the old...

Battening down the hatches in Lockhart. :-)
