  3. Re: Gibson threatening the mandolin and guitar luthier community

Of course I could be wrong about this, but after reading the article, the "Partnership Program" idea just sounds like Gibson is saying:

Re: Does Praying Help Find Your Blue Chip?

All's well that ends well. I'll hug my BC a little closer tonight.

    Good on you Chris.

Re: Stolen - Weber Fern A-style - Oakland, CA

That feeling that you and Pete have would be based on the assumption that all thieves (or at least these) steal because of difficult life circumstances.

That assumption would be incorrect. Absent...

Re: About done upgrading my MD315

That would be my next move. I've done it, and it really isn't too painful. You just need a couple of hours to take your time and do it right. It made a big difference on my old Kentucky. Can't...

Re: My new Price mandolin/Violin Combo case

  18. Re: How much does a Northfield actually cost to make?

I'm just not sure why the OP would ask the question in the first place. What difference does it make?

If you purchased a $5K Northfield because of all the things you liked about it, would it make...

Re: Man I need a good tuner...

I'll join the chorus of praise for this post.

I prefer the older silver Peterson, due to the on/off switch issue of the new ones that foldedpath spoke to. Other players have had the same issue.

    Re: Eastman MD614 opinions?

Definitely the optimum way to purchase a mando in a mass-produced line like Eastman or Kentucky. In that context, I don't think that model designation matters as much. As least not as far as tone is...
