Ok guys I have what I think is a reasonable question. When you post an instrument for sale, and someone is interested from another area of the country how should business be conducted? I have never...

I would like to apologize for my earlier post to everyone here. I was frustrated. I am over it and I appreciate things being brought to my attention. This is such a great forum. The people here...

Ok guys I have had my Gibson mandolin for sale and a potential buyer from this site said he wanted it. I was going to bring it to him also. He has strung me along for a month now. I have turned down...
Guys was just wondering about shipping procedures that are preferred. What is the best carrier to use for shipping. I called FedEx and they said they don't insure anything but you can put a dollar...
The 2016 date is what threw me off.
On my 2015 it says Gibson Artist Model, and it is an F-5G
I think what was throwing me was he advertised it as a master model. It does not appear to be in a Gibson case either.
Something does not appear to be right with this listing. What do you think????

I must be missing something here. When I click on settings all I get is video quality.

Anyone using Straight Up Strings? Just wondering how they play and sound?
Steve
I guess the big question is how hard are they to find these days, and what would you have to pay for one?
Steve
Has anyone played Martin's carved top, two-point mandolins ? I was just wondering how they sound compared to the F5's of today. Are they worth having in your arsenal of mandolins?
Steve
In that video I had a very difficult time looking at the mandolin. My eyes were on the prettier fixture up on stage. I forgive her for not having an instrument in her hands.
So guys are the Northfields made in Michigan? Has anyone been to the shop?
Steve
Yes I have been very careful, holding the top open and pulling the mando out. Yesterday I opened the case and left it upside down all day on a slick countertop. When I turned it back right side up...
I have a rider added to my homeowners. It is for the "Agreed Value" of the instrument. You have to have that...You tell them what it is worth and that is the amount you get if something were to...
I was thinking of opening the case and turning it upside down for a day to see if it would gently stretch the material. I know it is not the fault of Gibson as much as it is TKL. It only needs about...
Has anyone else here had a problem with the Gibson rectangular cases not wanting to stay open. If I push back hard enough on the lid it will stay open, but I keep thinking I am going to crack the...
Ok I made one, and I have to tell you that honestly it is my favorite. The volume increased considerably. I am not kidding it is a winner. I kept it full thickness of the chip and tapered/filed all...
Hey guys was just thinking of making a pick out of a poker chip from the casino. Anyone else ever tried this material. It seams to be made from some sort of plastic. This one sure is heavy for it's...
Something just seams fishy about the entire incident. I see absolutely no reason to even have to borrow a guitar from Martin. And why would prop men from the movie make duplicates. They don't have...
I just think it would be very interesting to see what Martin could make. If they made something that sounded as wonderful as their guitars they would have something.
Steve
When I was at the Martin factory to pick up my guitar last year, someone asked Chris Martin if/why they did not make mandolins any more. I did not catch what he first said but did hear him say that...
Always back into the case it goes for several reasons. Humidity and breakage. Why would you want to take the chance of your beautiful instrument getting damaged? I am one of the most careful persons...
