I have owned a few Eastmans, one or two of The Loar, a Gretsch, Kentucky...etc etc. The one I feel is the most comfy would be my The Loar LM-170. It has a 1 1/8" nut spacing...now if it were only...

I have one more question: how do the Gretsch root series A-style mandolins compare to the Rover RM-50? I have never seen the Rover at any store near me.

Washburn M3E Mandolin Pack sells for $349 and includes a gig bag...it is not a solid top mando let alone carved...it is all laminated wood...but it is amplified....I was wondering if anyone here has...
