I would take out the two top screws & plug the holes with tooth picks straighten the tail piece re drill & install the screws & then you can answer your own question without guessing

Why would you want to spend hundreds to have a neck reset when you could spend 9.00 for a new pair of strings & get the same results
glue them with CA glue to something the proper size put them in the drill press & sand them down, put a drop of acetone on it to get them off
