  2. Re: Electric & Acoustic Tenor Guitar String Gauges

    Re: Warren Ellis 5

Seems to be nobody online doing a demo of this - I’d like to hear it in CGDAE.
Just an “unboxing” for gawds sake!
  6. Re: Used Eastwood Astrojet Tenor at Guitar Center $350

They really ought to make them again tbh. And, given that Eastman did it with the ERM Mando, why not a proper four course pickup.
  7. Re: Used Eastwood Astrojet Tenor at Guitar Center $350

Yeah it’s an Eastwood I’d like; but if I sell my Warren Ellis 2p I might try and get the Warren Ellis 5 or the baritone. Something different. I have a lot of standard tenor electrics it seems !!

    Re: 5 course questions

Consider a 9 string instrument at shorter scales, or an octave pair C (high underneath)

Just seemed incongruous that you used the word ‘quid’ but maybe I just didn’t know that Americans use it too!

Did you say 120 quid?? I’m assuming you & I are on different sides of the pond? :)

    Lovely little arsenal that.

    Re: Hollow Body Electric Tenors

I sent the YouTube link to my luthier who’s working on my ETG150 at the moment. He said he’s got a mate who’s got a blonde ES125. Now that, I would like to see as a tenor.... *drool*

    Re: Hollow Body Electric Tenors

I’d get that natural TG50 in a heartbeat! Not many of them about. Maybe get Earnest Instruments to make you up a new scratch plate so as to mount the pickup on it as per his spec.
    You Americans get...

  24. Re: Somebody knows about NK Forste's" Session King Tenor guitar?

He’s a respected luthier, and he makes excellent tenor guitars. You can make up your own mind from the videos what you think of them. I don’t really understand why you are desperate for us to confirm...
  25. Re: What is Today the best Tenor guitar between 500$ => under 100

finding a good reasonably priced resonator outside the US/Canada is extremely heard. there's a 1930 triolian for sale in London for £2000.... that's pretty much normal... they rarely appear though....
