They have a decent selection, I have never been able to deal with them. They don't come down very much, the price they have is about the best they will take. At least that is what I have found.

Its hard to find anything that will glue foam to metal that will hold when wet, most glues melt the foam or won't hold very long, think I will use silicone and screws and try that for the next set....
Only if you pull them at high speeds
Making planer boards to use for striper fishing.
Thinking about using screws with loctite, haven't had a lot of luck with any glues, if they don't melt the foam they don't hold when its gets wet. Might have to look at some epoxies and see if they...
Also tried Gorilla glue, didn't hold real well and melted the foam.
Think I tried it on another project and it melted the foam, will have to look in the garage and see which 3M spray I used.
Trying to find something that will bond Styrofoam to metal, about all the glues melt the foam, or it won't hold, also add to the problem it needs to work when wet and in water.
Thanks guess I will...
Just wondering if hide glue would hold Styrofoam to metal, this is for another project I'm working on.
Thanks
Dan
Go and have fun, play along and enjoy it. The more you get out and play the better you will get and the more you will enjoy it.
Dan
Try some green loctight will hold and then let you remove it if needed, might try some external lock washers on plastic they should hold also.

Would be a great mandolin to own.

My wife who don't like bluegrass likes the Steeldrivers, we saw them on Song of the Mountain and then on Bluegrass Underground the same night. She even wants their CD.
Dan
Song of the Mountain had Jeff Little playing piano along with Wayne Henderson a couple of times and Doc Watson once, Jeff can really tear up a piano on some bluegrass songs.
I got to add Hershel Sizemore to the list, along with Paul Williams
The robster on here has a great set up book that he gives members free, just look back on some of the posts and you will find his post and email him he will send it to you.
If people are just listening you can play faster, if you are playing for dancers you have to play slower.
Checkout Flatpicker Hangout, they have a lot of guitar tab.

Do a google search or a youtube search for Anthony Hannigan, he used to teach mandolin at the old music moose website which is now gone and he has put some of it back on under the hickory project you...
Thanks for this
Dan
