When you import a midi track, you get the chords for the tune. Then after you add the Real Track(s), the midi can be removed.
I have had BIAB for years and do use it sometimes (the midi drives me nuts as well ) but I just recently upgraded to BIAB 2008.5 and got the Real Tracks program. So far I have only half way completed...
