Regarding polar patterns, the AT4033 is fixed cardioid I believe, and that, combined with a good sensitivity (probably not to high), and a rugged chassis must be why it is preferred for stage use....

Right, so sort of a "-20dB" switch on a preamp (to match line-level inputs).
Do you know if such a thing can be bought, maybe as part of a DI-box, or do I also have to make it myself ?

Hi Guys! I'm currently trying a DYN, and it seems to be pretty balanced like low/high almost nomatter where I put it.
the baggs radius (that Im also trying) seem to be more sensitive to placement.
