I've read your earlier posts about Fullerton (as you know). They sound like a very good deal.

Depends on many things, but for Celtic tunes I'd say the major scale notes for G and D fall more naturally under my fingers - especially at mando scale length.

Hmm... That single bolt doesn't instill much confidence in the neck joint, does it?

Would it be worth adding another bolt? Or screwing a plate across the neck heel to body area? Depending on...
