Here’s a link to the folder I have with other pictures and some remarks about this Derrington distressed master model
I am pretty sure I have never wanted something as bad as I want this DMM.
I think that is awesome that they mention Mr Derrington along with Orville and Lloyd.
I look forward to playing one. I really am excited about that case though. I’ll be looking for one of those when they pop up used.
I’m just excited that they actually matched the color of the interior of the case.
I guess I haven’t been paying attention on here for the last few years. I found in the D’Addario Exp 74CM, the perfect strings for my Gibson MM so I bought a dozen sets a few years ago. I just used...
Serial number would also help determine if it is a MM or not.
That is a tough questions. I have played a few Red diamonds and they are fantastic, although I wouldn’t trade my 02 Gibson MM for one. That doesn’t mean that there are not Red Diamonds that are not...
Charlie actually signed quite a few in 2004. Here’s a screenshot of the master model list. I have pictures of a number of these ones labels.

Here it is.
His last sign label was in January 2005. I will find a picture and post it later today. It was in the master model that Bill Lily had.
I have the newer Gibson Signature Calton case and my 2002 Gibson MM fits fine with the Tone guard. It was tight at first but is no problem after a year. The tone guard is on in this picture.

I think this is probably a 2006 not a 1996. It probably would be worth $3000 if not broken.

It is not. Facebook shut me down. I haven’t decided where to move the registry to yet.
I honestly cannot tell. I had Covid back in April and my ability to smell has only came back for certain things.

I bought a Gibson Calton and I love it. I’m very pleased that my A4 fits in it also.
Wow. Definitely has the tone and power.
I’ve played 3 of Mr. Halsey’s F5s and they were all magnificent. He is a phenomenal individual all the way around.
I had a 77 that I bought from Tony Williamson when I was 15. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good by any means. The finish was as thick as a car window.

My 22 F4 that I had was pretty low also.

I’m sure everyone can guess what my choice would be.
I played the prototype Northfield 4.0 that was heading to Mike Marshal and i was blown away. The clarity and tone color was at my master models level. I was extremely impressed.
