Yes sir quite a mandolin! You're a great builder and mandolin player Skip. I'm the proud new owner of it and enjoy every minute of playing it. It's hard to put it down. Thanks Skip
I got one of his mandolins. Really unique design. Solidly built. I had a small problem with mine and he rectified it quickly and professionally.
Yeah makes me curious. Got to sell my Collings first.
Yeah got my eyes on it.
I was thinking of getting one after selling my Collings MT. Don't know. There is a lot of positive input.

Without a doubt Bill Monroe caused me to play mandolin.I think about playing or listening pretty often. At least 2 or 3 times a day
Hey Thanks! I'll get back with you in a few days after I've had time to spend on that. I'm on nights til Thursday.
I've done some intonation adjustments. I checked this one when I first got it but all I did was set the E and G string. Most of my experience on this has been on electric guitars and mandolins with...
the odd harmonic is gone. Do I need to put different strings on or work on my technique?LOL
Thanks alot! I'll try this and get back with you
I just recieved my new Loar LM-600vs. I can't get rid of this odd harmonic when fretting the 5th fret on A string. I have a Wood Nymph behind the strings and I pulled the tail piece cover off . That...
Hi Scott My name is Bud Barnwell.
What about the wood nymph? Does it help smooth harmonics?
