I thought all the skin cheapened the company image and was unprofessional (unless your company is selling porn, perhaps). (By the way, did you get these background pictures legally? Serious...

Just a note guys, this is a family forum. There are younger children and women that are members here. When a post starts with "Sorry if this contravenes the rules" you generally already know it does....

    Me Thinks...

P 90 had some height above top under the cover , in EM & TG 150s and lots beneath..

so .. the cavity in EM 200 body to get it down flush must be rather deep ..

I think you missed a trick there, Bemuse surely ;)

I missed off the 'd' bemused is what I am when I pick up a 5 string.

That's why I bought a CNC too. I've seen a couple luthiers slow down, and simply retire, because of hand problems. Trying to work smarter now. Looking forward to seeing what you two put together.

    Mandocaster with an Almuse Pickup

Just put in an Almuse mandostrat pickup into my 2013 Fender mandocaster. Sounds great and pretty much solved the weak e string complaint I posted a few weeks ago.

    Thanks for the recommendations.

  15. Re: Going Electric - what do I need to know?

I suppose that low-cost mandolins need some updating. I have a Mandobird Viii and I've replaced the nut; the bridge and the pickup with new almuse pickup and bridge. No week E, no bad intonation...It...
