Wow, that's a beautiful instrument with some unique features, I like it! Who made it?

    Re: Lazy Sunday pics

This is an older video, and the audio isn't awesome... but it's the only thing I could come up with on short notice! I'll have to get something more recent, because I think it sounds better now that...

Re: Article: Introducing GreenChip Picks by BlueChip

Since they only last 72 hr they should sell them in quantity in bags. Maybe even different sizes of bags, a small fun bag for short tours, a large family size for the long summer tours?

    Re: Shout out to Collings

I am glad others report this, I have felt this way about engelmann tops for a while - and I have long preferred red spruce. From what I understand there are some builders who pick their engelmann...

Re: Sam Bush playing something other than Hoss?

I know Sam was presented a blonde or gold topped Gibson with the telluride Mountains done in inlay on the headstock, but I don’t think that’s this one

    Re: Blue Chips

This is the same thing I do, so of course I had to buy one blue chip for each mandolin and still spent a ton on them.
But it helps me get closer to the sound I want so it’s worth it :mandosmiley:

Are you using the preamp EQs to boost or cut? I only use EQ for cuts, boosting seems to bring out the bad characteristics

Re: Nut Width for new build - how important, really

I have a Weber Bighorn that I custom ordered with 1 1/4 inch neck width, I love it for some things and it feels so good on my left hand after playing something smaller. That said since then I have...

I canít speak to the other choices but I love my Collings MT2-O

The elevated fret board and longer neck do seem to make these style of ovals a little less tubby, a little more like a hybrid with...

    Re: Another ToneDexter Question

One of the knobs on the front lets you select between 10 different wave maps, there is also a switch on the back that allows you to go from banks 1 - 10 and 11- 20.

If you update the firmware to...
