Congrats!!!!!!
I've played it...it's an awesome mando like so many are but I wouldn't trade my Buckeye for it.
I believe it has helped at least somewhat. I and others turned off country radio several years ago entirely and have been strictly bluegrass ever since.
I've messed around with a handful of them. Frank's is still a dandy and smooth as butter to play.
I've gotta stop in at Pete's in a couple weeks if anybody waiting wants a peek I can get ya pictures. Just let me know.
You'll have more woof than you'll know what to do with this one.
Hey Tracy...if your nice I'll show you how to play that this weekend.
Alan who? ;)
:) That'll be a nice looking back me thinks :)...but you could be different...make that the top.
I'll be there...looking forward to seeing you.
Thanks Scotti....should be able to meet up with him in Wilmington in a couple weeks if you miss next week. :)
From what I have been told a major financial crisis (eliminating most of the details that I know purposely) forced Staats to sell about everything he owned instrument wise.
Red Diamond vs....
Mando strings aren't too bad. I change them once or twice a year whether they need it or not. I do have one guitar though that has worn its same strings since about 1989....that's seems more...
Well...was gonna stay out of it but what the heck...Huh? I agree with Jim...Jamming has a place for sure but I prefer not to have to deal with it at a show of that caliber. It's really not much of...
Michael...Johnny does play a Red Diamond now but did play a Buckeye. I understand he had to sell the Buckeye at one point but why the Red Diamond is beyond me. If I were him I'd be hunting down...
Haha...not only that...it appears to be mine :). Mine was built next to Mitterhoff's.
BTW...Pete only makes four each year.
Brady Smith from brady712 ... thanks
I'll be there Wednesday - Sunday.
Still can't get any of my pics up. Still out of power and prolly will be for a while yet. Byron...you guys are all great. Mark is a fantastic picker.
Was very nice to see a bunch of new folks at the camp and alot of the old ones as well. Never would have thought we'd get hit with a hurricane (that was interesting). I'll post some pics soon...
None should be a collapsing issue but I would advise the MK would be your best bet but look for a good one.
I'll be there Wednesday-Sunday.
I do have a cabin in the mountains and enjoy listening to the whippoorwills. It is near the Banks of the Ohio but yet not actually In the Pines although that wouldn't be bad. I bought the property...
I would think of going no where else but making a trip down near Athens to see Pete Hart. His details are in the classifieds.
