  1. How about some 5 string electric mandolining?

Footage from a concert last year featuring Paul Glasse on electric mandolin. This was a Facebook Live event. The music is stellar and other than a great performance by Paul, you have Russell Scanlon...

There are still some EXP sets at various retailers, but they are no longer manufactured. They have been replaced by the XT. The mix in gauges is just about balancing the sound. While many people...

Re: Why do people only sell the great ones?

    Sales is sales...

But, I've parted with an instrument that I thought was one of the best I played. The issue was it just didn't suit my hand, and I believe that if you start modifying an...

  15. Re: Your thoughts on Ellis A4s and other modern, upper tier ovals

I'd be hard pressed to pass up the Gil at TME. Those from the early batches are ridiculously good. Similarly, if you can find a Kimble oval, they're very similar.

This looks and sounds great. I like Walnut as an instrument wood, some of my favorite Epiphone archtop guitars are walnut builds.

    Re: Chris Thile's Loars

All the talk of the Loars and they do sound great, but to my ears this mandolin suits his style more than any other.

Re: What's The One That Got Away?

Re: Jazz 5 Roberts/Tiny Moore Mandolin
